«Gas not for sale» is a multilingual performance that takes the audience on a documentary journey through personal conversations with a wide range of Portland residents.
This site-specific experimental piece is based exclusively on real people’s words collected by members of the Fool House Art Collective team using the «verbatim» technique.
It is a bold attempt to uncover the truth of today, which is often hidden behind conversations at an old gas station in the historic Portland neighborhood of Multnomah Village.
Fool House Art Collective is a 501(c)(3) theatrical nonprofit comprised of artists with roots in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Our mission is to celebrate and share the diverse cultures of these regions with the Pacific Northwest community through innovative, experimental, immersive, and physical theater.
